A highly respected, award-winning professional services firm in London is looking to appoint an Employment Tax Senior Manager into its established Global Mobility / Employment Tax team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced employment tax professional who wants to work in a specialist, client-facing environment, with access to a broad mix of compliance and advisory work across a varied portfolio of clients and sectors. The role would suit someone who enjoys combining technical depth, commercial input, and team leadership, while remaining close to clients and high-quality work.

You’ll join a collaborative team known for its technical strength, relationship-led approach, and supportive culture. There is genuine scope to build your profile internally, take ownership of key client relationships, and play a visible role in the continued growth of the team.

The opportunity

In this role, you’ll take a lead position in delivering employment tax services to a portfolio of clients, acting as a key adviser on both ongoing compliance matters and more complex advisory projects. You’ll be a trusted point of contact for clients, contributing commercially as well as technically, and helping to develop junior talent within the team.

This is particularly well suited to someone who wants to be part of a core advisory team, rather than operating in a purely process-driven compliance environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Leading the delivery of high-quality employment tax compliance and advisory work
  • Acting as a key contact for clients and building strong, long-term relationships
  • Managing a varied portfolio across different industries and business structures
  • Supporting on technically complex employment tax matters and research-led advisory projects
  • Reviewing work, maintaining high technical standards, and ensuring excellent client service
  • Coaching, supervising, and developing junior team members
  • Contributing to the growth and profile of the team internally and externally

About you

  • CTA qualified
  • At least 5 years’ employment tax experience
  • Strong technical grounding across employment tax compliance and advisory matters
  • Comfortable operating in a client-facing senior role
  • Able to manage competing deadlines while maintaining quality
  • Confident mentoring junior colleagues and supporting team development
  • Commercially aware, collaborative, and keen to progress further in a high-quality environment

Why consider this role?

  • Join a well-regarded, award-winning firm
  • Work in a team with strong expertise across Employment Tax and Global Mobility
  • Enjoy a mix of technical advisory and client relationship responsibility
  • Be part of a supportive, collaborative culture with clear progression potential
  • London-based opportunity with a modern, flexible working environment and strong overall package
